It is designed for delegates to recognize the objectives and legal implications of business contracting, understand key elements and terminology, put procurement issues into perspective, using contracts to manage source selection and partnering; and to develop legal knowledge and skills contextualising the work of all those involved in contracts, from initialisation to termination. Modern contracting requires participants to have skills in risk control, corporate responsibility and conflict avoidance.
