IT projects are notorious for overruns. Whether its late delivery, failure to meet the client’s complete needs or unexpected costs, there is little doubt that involvement in an IT projects can be a pretty tough station! Effective project management is the key to addressing these pressures. Clear management of stakeholder requirements, activity scheduling and employee effort can support strong stakeholder engagement and post-project satisfaction. This COPEX training course incorporates key IT activities such as software engineering methodology, requirements engineering and software quality assurance into generally accepted project management practices (wbs, scheduling etc.) to help delegates understand how they can manage IT projects effectively.

  • Effectively report progress using standard and earned value mechanisms

The COPEX training course provides delegates with a clear presentation of how to apply generally accepted project management practices in the context of IT development projects.   • COPEX Certificate of Attendance will be provided to delegates who attend and complete the course
  • The applicable PMI Professional Development Units/Contact Hours will be reflected in the Certificate of Attendance
